Worksheet: Circle the words that end with the same ending sound you hear in "sock". Then color them in the picture.
Worksheet: Color the words orange that begin with the same beginning sound in "shell". Color the words yellow that end with the same ending sound in fish. Color all of the other words blue. Write what you see in the picture.

Faith read a short story called "Duke". Then she wrote words that completed sentences about the story. Then she colored a picture about Duke and his flute. Then she read 3 sentences about the story and wrote them in order (first, next, last).

Faith drew a picture of something she would like to do with a friend. Then, she wrote a sentence about it underneath, "I like to throw a boomerang with my friend." :)

Reading, Science, History, Bible Study
Began reading Jonathan Park & the Secret of the Hidden Cave, by Pat Roy, this week. We finished reading Chapter Three today. Faith is extremely interested in this story and loves for me to read it to her. It discusses dinosaurs and creation, how fossils are made, what stalactites and stagmites are and how they are formed, legends of dragons, etc. The story also focuses on taking a stand for truth even through trial.

Reading
Faith read Custard Surprise, by Lodge.

Math (Time & Money)
Worksheet: Write the numbers that are missing from each clock, then write the time
Worksheet: Write in the time on the digital clock as it is shown on each analog clock.
Worksheet: Circle the dimes in the pocket. Count all the coins. Write the amount.

Physical Education
Faith played on the park with friends this morning and practiced cartwheels. Excellent form! She can do several in a row!
Later we went swimming in a friend's pool. Faith practiced swimming underwater, jumping, diving, and running.

Learning about the letter U this week. I created a homemade workbook for Faith out of several pages of worksheets pulled from different books.

Science, Computer Skills, Bible Study
We went to the radio station 91.1 this morning for a short tour. Faith got to create a recording of herself as she recited a scripture verse. She then got to see how it was edited on the computer and prepared for broadcast. Her audio clip was played on the airwaves after we left!

Servanthood
Faith came with me this morning to the church to help prepare the flowers to be given out on Mother's Day. She help separate cards, punch holes, and learned how to tie them with ribbon to the flowers.

Art
Faith drew a picture of herself on the cover of the workbook.

U coloring page. Color each letter according to the instructions to reveal a picture of an umbrella.

Writing, Reading
